" Modelling the director ", Dr. Peter Girth, during his introductory speech for the exhibition "New Art in the Philharmonie", 1983
" The visitors to the Philharmonie could not believe their eyes: while Dr. Peter Girth, manager of the house, opened in the foyer an exhibition with pictures and sculptures by contemporary artists he was totally covered in plaster of Paris. The Philharmonie director was just about to begin his speech. Suddenly the artist Hella De Santarossa carried in a large bucket and splashed a dollop of semi-solid plaster on his trouser leg. Her friend, Arthur, helped to smear. Dr.Girth (who had been warned) was not distracted and continued with his speech. At the end, the Philharmonie representative was smeared from top to toe with plaster - only his eyes and glasses were spared. " (Berliner Illustrierte "Evening Edition", 10.12.83)
