There had been so many interesting discussions about Mariolatry, also known as the cult of the Virgin Mary, coming both from the Evangelist as well as the Catholic point of view (expo 2000, Munich-Riem 2002-2005, Performance Akt 2004, and paintings such as "Maria, Maria-Magdalena", 1982, Hambach, "Hot Earth" the South-American Maria: "Iamanja", the goddess of the sea).

Naturally, the on-going debates about the role of women in society have been a decisive factor leading towards the "Amazon" project.

Important personal friends, like Beatrice Hympendahl, fashion designer from Düsseldorf, are portraited, recorded and presented using visual, audio and painting media.
